Spicy Lamb Kebabs

One of our favorite barbecue recipes brought to you by Best Weber Gas Barbecues

Ingredients

  • 1 lb lamb
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 1/2 cup red wine
  • 2 tsp Season all
  • 6 rashers bacon
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1 red pepper
  • 15 small mushrooms

Marinade

  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 tbs melted butter
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 2 1/2 cups lamb stock
  • 2 tbs tomato paste
  • 1 tbs sweet sherry
  • 1/2 tsp marjoram
  • 1/4 tsp white pepper
  • 1/4 tsp garlic salt

Method

  1. Chop the lamb into small cubes.
  2. Mix together the wine, oil and seasonings.
  3. Add the lamb cubes and leave for two hours.
  4. Cut up the peppers inot small pieces. Chop the bacon rashers into quarters and roll up.
  5. Thread the lamb cubes, the peppers, mushrooms and bacon rolls onto skewers.
  6. Brush over with the marinade and grill for about twenty minutes turning occasionally and basting with the marinade.
