Spicy Lamb Kebabs
One of our favorite barbecue recipes brought to you by Best Weber Gas Barbecues
Ingredients
- 1 lb lamb
- 1/4 cup oil
- 1/2 cup red wine
- 2 tsp Season all
- 6 rashers bacon
- 1 green pepper
- 1 red pepper
- 15 small mushrooms
Marinade
- 1 chopped onion
- 1 tbs melted butter
- 1/4 cup flour
- 2 1/2 cups lamb stock
- 2 tbs tomato paste
- 1 tbs sweet sherry
- 1/2 tsp marjoram
- 1/4 tsp white pepper
- 1/4 tsp garlic salt
Method
- Chop the lamb into small cubes.
- Mix together the wine, oil and seasonings.
- Add the lamb cubes and leave for two hours.
- Cut up the peppers inot small pieces. Chop the bacon rashers into quarters and roll up.
- Thread the lamb cubes, the peppers, mushrooms and bacon rolls onto skewers.
- Brush over with the marinade and grill for about twenty minutes turning occasionally and basting with the marinade.
